The Leaside Skating Club is aiming to field 4 synchronized skating teams for the 2011-2012 season. The team categories will be dependant on the skill level and number of skaters who attend the tryouts.

Elementary (One Program) |
An introductory program to foster love of synchro and basic skills. Skaters must have completed Stage 5 in the Canskate Program prior to entry | Under 12 years of age | Must have Canskate Stage 5 badge |
Juvenile (One Program) |
A developmental program to encourage team work and build synchro skills | Under 15, most under 12 years of age | Working on Preliminary/Junior Bronze test levels in StarSkate program |
Novice (One Program) |
A program to enhance competition performance with a continued focus on training and skills | 10 to 18, most over 12 and under 15 years of age | Working Senior Bronze/Junior Silver or higher levels in StarSkate program |
Junior (Short programand Long program) |
A new elite team at LSC training towards excellence at the National level. Future plans will build toward a goal of international competition | 12 to 18 as specified in ISU Rule 108 | Working on Senior Silver/Gold Levels in StarSkate program |
